There are two strictly speaking explanations for stainless steel embossed plates, one is stamping with abrasive tools and the other is embossing with tape. One is plate processing and the other is tape processing. One is local force and the other is average force. Abrasive stamping is frequently stamping one pattern with another pattern, and the tape embossing puts the whole roll through the rolling machine and embossing roller. Therefore, the depth and three-dimensionality of the embossed pattern of the abrasive tool are stronger than that of the tape embossed. However, the flatness of the stamped plate is worse than that of the embossed plate.
The stainless steel embossing process uses a concave-convex mold to deform a stainless steel oil under a certain pressure, thereby artistically processing the surface of the stainless steel. The surface of the embossed stainless steel presents patterns and textures of different depths, and with a clear three-dimensional sense of relief, which also enhances the artistic appeal of the stainless steel plate. It is mainly used for architectural decoration, elevator decoration, countertops, kitchen tops, etc.
Stainless steel embossed plate and stainless steel etched plate can be collectively referred to as stainless steel water corrugated plate. This title can be used as long as the surface of the steel plate is processed and patterned. Such as stainless steel transfer plates and stainless steel coated plates which have patterns on their surfaces.
Different from stainless steel embossed plate, stainless steel etched plate makes a patchwork pattern on the plate through chemical corrosion. Stainless steel etches can be made according to the customer’s requirements, and the pattern is various. The etched plates are currently used in the decoration industry, such as elevators and hotel lobbies.
