1)Method of bending round tubes:
Hot bending method: First, several rollers of the arc car according to the outer diameter of the 304 stainless steel round pipe. Fix the roller on the iron plate and fill the tube with sand. Plug both ends of the tube with wood, and bend the bend by heating it with a flame.
Cold bending: It can be formed by rolling multiple times with a bending machine. Before using the bending machine, the test machine must be done well, and there must be a gap in plate thickness at the bottom. The bending notch must choose a groove with 8 times the thickness of the plate.
2)Technical Difficulties:
During processing, the friction between the workpiece and the tool will generate high heat, and the tool is easy to wear. Therefore, the requirements for tool materials are more stringent. It is necessary to wear resistance, and high-temperature resistance and must meet the sharp edge requirements.
The processing speed is slow, the force is large during the cutting process, and the production efficiency is low. In addition, due to the high calorific value, sulfur chloride is generally used as a good cooling oil, and the effect is better. The most difficult part is drilling deep holes and tapping. Therefore, workers who process 304 stainless steel round pipes are required to have good experience and technology.
3)Precautions:
Bent pipe: The general requirement for 304 stainless steel round pipe bend R is that the bend radius (center line) R ≥ 1.5~2 times the diameter. If the R-angle of the elbow is too small, the R-angle part of the elbow will be flat. The bending R angle of the same stainless steel pipe is generally consistent, which meets the consistency of the wheel mold. The length of the straight side of the elbow must be ≥ 2 times the diameter, otherwise the pipe-bending mold cannot be clamped smoothly.
Process hole: The welding seams of 304 stainless steel round pipes should consider reserving process holes to better discharge the welding slag generated during welding.
Processing performance: First of all, we should pay attention to the processing performance of 304 stainless steel round pipes.High plasticity and high toughness when cutting stainless steel. Also high cutting energy consumption, high cutting temperature, low thermal conductivity of stainless steel, poor heat dissipation, easy-to-cause tool temperature rise, and enhanced bond weldability of stainless steel which easy to clog the backlog during cutting. These resulted in the reduction of the surface finish of stainless steel pipes.
